How secure is my data? As a company, the integrity of your data is vital to us and we’re continually updating our systems and working to ensure that our technology and security policies remain rock solid in the constantly changing landscape around cyber crime.
Today we thought we’d focus on the top three questions we’re asked on this topic and tell you a little more about why Joiin’s security set-up is top of the class.
How is my data stored?
With a global customer base, our focus has been on security from the outset, using the built-in services of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Two Factor Authentication as standard and SSL technology, the financial data you need to produce Joiin reports at the touch of a button is stored securely within AWS high-security zones.
Who can access my data?
Thanks to a secure login to AWS, your personal data remains your own – we never share data with other parties. Although you can give colleagues or clients access to Joiin reports and features using our collaborative features, you remain in control of who they are and how much they can see.
What happens to my data if I stop using Joiin?
If you decide during your trial with Joiin that it’s not for you, no problem – we’ll delete all of your data from our records immediately upon cancellation. For paid subscriptions, as soon as the remaining days on your billing period have passed, your data is deleted. This includes access tokens with Quickbooks, Sage and Xero, giving you peace of mind that no traces remain.
With data lost in breaches and cyber-attacks breaking all records in 2020, it’s understandable that security is at the forefront of people’s minds, particularly those in the Fintech industry.
